Hello hello!! I've not blogged for a super long time, I know. I'm super lazy lah.

Alright, first thing on my agenda of things to blog about- Selection Camp.

The weird thing is, despite lots of "tekkaning", running about and bruises, I can honestly say the camp was a great one. I walked into camp expecting to hate it and to resent it, but I was honestly quite surprised to find that none of that existed at all. In fact, I actually think the camp was pretty great, because I think everyone really came out of it wiser and stronger in many ways, me included:D So despite the fact that my most unglam and stinky moments in SA were definitely conjured up in this camp, this is one camp I'm not rushing to forget.


Not to forget, I realized how I've been trying to rely on my own insufficient strength when really, I should be calling out to God and relying on Him. This moment of sudden realization came during morning worship, and I'm so glad that the camp encompassed this special time. Because this forgotten point came rushing to me then, and I thought back on how I'd been trying to rely on my physical strenth alone to overcome everything. But now I know:)


Anyway, my group was BETA!! :D I really think we had really nice instructors who gave us a break from the strict and harsh front we experienced from all the councillors. I think something fundemental our group needed to learn was definitely communication and learning how to be a follower, because that really stunted the way our group worked together. But all in all, I think our group really did put in our best efforts, and waaa, so grateful for the guys who offered help during pumping positions!! Plus Tiffany and Alynn ended up being in the same group as me, and I seriously thank God for that. I'm not a camp-y person, so at least I had friends accompanying me:D


School song, hymn and cheers are definitely embedded in me man. Especially the school hymn, it has been playing in my head non-stop for two days now!!

Tau-huay-ed with some of the class today:D We ended up talking for a really long time, and I think today really has been GREAT. We ended early, which is SUPER SUPER RARE considering how many extra lessons we had!! All of us were seriously rejoicing. Anyway, talked about everything, from pokemon to sexual harrassment to scary people in school. Heard so many stories of sexual harrassment, which thankfully I don't think I've experienced before. Even Samuel lah, and whoa I never heard of the guy being the victim before. Who knew girls could have so much pervy-ness within them!! I think all the girls were shocked, we were shooting him with questions and all our jaws just dropped. Haha, poor fella. In conclusion, people, take taxis instead of buses and MRTs and avoid pervertic girls (like Gen!)


Okay today I realized I'm so blessed with very, very encouraging people around me:) Reading the various things people wrote for me has really brightened up my day. I've been feeling like I've been holding back quite alot, and that how I reacted to different situations in camp could've been better. But then again, I did my best to be myself, advice from a wise someone:D


Okay Shelley was telling me I don't blog enough about her. Haha ah well okay HELLO SHELL/LOUILU-MON!! :D:D:D How's ***** today? I love annoying you with that question so very much.


Btw, if any of you hear my name with Barnard, please hear me out. JULIAN BARNARD IS JIEXIN'S OKAY! She wrote down a list of guys from books she likes, and when I heard Julian Barnard I was like haha, funny, imagine Jiexin Barnard hahaha, I shall call you that!! But nooo, in the end that girl turned so many people against me and keeps pushing Barnard to me and keeping Potter all to herself. That archie-comics crazy girl ah-.-


Okay I'm officially like everyone's boyfriend because I'm tall. Is it because SA lacks tall guys or am I just very manly or something? I really hope it's the former, because the latter isn't very flattering!! Haha:D


Stomach's growling now, shall go eat dinner!! Tomorrow's Sports Day so I'm super slack now muahaha.
